We manage $60M+ across 30+ companies, including Nuitee (Morocco), Reliance Health (Nigeria), Yassir (Algeria), and Better Auth (Ethiopia). We’re expanding our team and looking for a junior investor (≤4 years of experience).

• Entrepreneurial mindset → You take ownership, show initiative, thrive with autonomy, and are hungry to learn. You navigate nuance, challenge ideas constructively, and are comfortable with frequent travel + remote-first work across time zones.

• Ecosystem connectivity → You source early-stage startups across Africa and global diaspora markets. You have strong interpersonal skills and shine on building relationships with different stakeholders e.g. founders, angels, and accelerators, which provides you with early access.

• Investment chops → You conduct thorough market research and competitive analysis, and develop robust financial models. You formulate

• and present compelling investment theses across multiple sectors. You assist on deal structuring and execute deep-dive due diligence.

• Operational muscle → You work closely with portfolio companies on strategic initiatives, including follow-on capital raises. You know how to build and manage tools and processes to track operational and financial metrics and keep up with a fast-moving portfolio. You create data-driven reports and presentations for existing and prospective investors.

• Bonus points if you bring:

  • Extra language firepower (French, Swahili, or other languages).

  • Domain expertise in AI, SaaS, FinTech, or blockchain.

  • A track record as a founder, operator or investor.

You will work closely with our Managing Partners in an apprenticeship model on a fast-track pathway to senior roles within our growing firm.
